Business... not as usual

At Buy Wild we conduct our business around two core values : finding exceptional properties for our clients and making sure every acquisition has a concrete positive impact on the Osa Peninsula’s ecosystem.

More than anyone, we know the field

For more than 10 years, we have been tracking, monitoring, and protecting jaguars in Costa Rica’s South Pacific through a broad network of automated camera traps and the Las Oncas Conservation Reserve, a protected area designed to safeguard jaguar territories and travel paths.

With Las Oncas, we have committed to safeguarding several critical areas in Costa Rica's South Pacific region. However, given the vast area that needs protection, other strategic lands deserve to be protected before jaguars go extinct. This is why we are joining forces with conscious buyers seeking wild and unique properties. Whether you aim to build your dream vacation home or establish yourself in the Osa Peninsula, our team will help you make the right choice among the exceptional properties we have curated for you.

Wildlife Monitoring package

Once you have purchased your property, Buy Wild gives you the opportunity to keep following wildlife activity within your lands. This optional package includes 3 camera traps, regular revision by our staff, access to the footages of your property in your private online space. In addition, the data collected from these camera traps will be analyzed by the Las Oncas team and shared with environmental authorities to support and enhance wildlife research efforts in Costa Rica.

Las Oncas: Stoping the walk towards jaguar exctinction in Osa

Las Oncas’ mission is the creation and expansion of a conservation reserve protecting jaguar territory in Costa Rica’s South Pacific.

Witnessing the loss of wild spaces to agricultural and urban development, facing the urgency of the situation, protecting these areas is the only solution to ensure the survival of the jaguar in the Osa Peninsula and to reverse the decrease of its population.
